Carbohydrates are the main source of energy and proteins help in growth and development, build muscles, skin and hair. Both the nutrients should be eaten together in order to stabilize blood sugar levels. In simple words, without carbs your body will not be able to function and without proteins your body cannot build muscle mass or grow skin and hair.

Lentils like pulses, chickpeas or black beans do not contain all the amino acids. But when eaten with rice or chapati and make a dynamic combination of protein-rich meal. Rice and chapati have decent amount of carbohydrates as well. But be mindful of the portion when you eat rice or chapati.
2. Barley roti and chicken
Chicken is an excellent source of protein and should be included in your weight loss diet plan. You can have chicken with barley roti to meet your daily need of carbohydrates. Make sure you do not cook chicken with excessive oil or other fattening ingredients.
3. Whole grain bread and eggs
